GREEN BUILDING

·       The buildings are constructed observing the rules of environmental and sustainable.
·       The staging of the building include:
1.     The development stage :
a.      Selection stage and plot area analysis
b.     Design and planning 
c.      Construction
d.     Pasca-construction
2.     The utilization stage, 
3.     The maintenance stage
4.     The demolition stage.
§  The design and planning stage in Green Building should accommodate the idea of sustainability. The aspect of the sustainability is 5 Patterns not 3 Patterns:
ü  Cost
ü  Time
ü  Quality  and
ü  Environmental / Sustainable 
ü  Health Safety and Comfort 
§  The Construction stage in the Green Building should accommodate 3 items:
ü  Efficiency of resources
ü  Minimalize of negative impact,
ü  Health and Safety of human.

GREENSHIP CERTIFICATION PROCESS:

  a. Willingness Letter Statement
  b. Administration Eligibility Document
  c. Eligible:
·       Is a minimum terms and condition that define a whether a building is allowed to be rated by any green building rating system and type.

·       Eligibility requirement for new Building:
1.     GFA minimum 2500 m2
2.     Comply with RTRW (City Planning)
3.     Comply with earthquake proof requirement
4.     Comply with building code for disabled
5.     Comply with the safety and fire code
6.     Provide copies of Environmental Comply Document.
7.     Agreed to provide building data related to Greenship rating for further studies conducted by GBCI
  
·       Eligibility requirement for Existing Building :
1.     GFA minimum 2500 m2
2.     Comply with the safety and fire code
3.     Provide copies Environmental Comply Document
4.     Agreed to provide building data related to Greenship rating for further studies conducted by GBCI.

·       Eligibility requirement for Interior Space:
1.     Minimum project area  25 m2
2.     Minimum numbers of user 1 persons for full time
3.     Minimum of occupancy period 3 years
4.     Compliance with the Detail Spatial Plan have the SIPPT
5.     Safety of building provide copies of IMB and SLF
6.     Project data transparency transparent for Greenship assessment.


3.     Registered Project.
All document have been submitted by project team already complied with administration and technical requirement. Project already registered in Project Certification for New Building Greenship.


4.     Workshop/Consultation : 

a. Transferring Know – How:
·       Written Material: books, simulation form and help tools
·       Half day workshop provided for project team: 
1.     Kick off Briefing
2.     Determine Certification Schedule
3.     Project Simulation for potential points by GP
4.     Rating Interpretation by GBCI
5.     Inventory possible points to increase certification level.
·       Total 3 times face to face consultation and coordination meetings.
·       3 emails for further technical questions on rating and points.

b.     Who should Attend the Workshop/Consultation :

·       Green Team
·       Design Team ( Architect, Civil, MEP, Landscape)
·       Owner Representative with Authority

5.     Design Recognition
a.      To give early recognition for Design phase.
b.     Encourage the project team to explore more ratings & increase green performance.
c.      Keeping the project team & owners' green spirit throughout certification process.

6.     Final Assessment
a.      Assessment for all aspect includes design and construction.
b.     The process as follows:
·       Project team submits the assessment form and document yo GBCI Certification team.
·       Assessment will be attended by Evaluation Assessment Board and the final result is the final.
·       Team project can propose appeal one time only.

7.     Certified 
a.      Green Building Certificate : 3 years.
b.     Certification for all kind of building  Office, Hospital, Shopping Mall, Hotel, Apartment, Factory, Data Center, Workshop Building, Library, Educational and Research Center.
